About KaiSpark

KaiSpark is one person and a fleet of AI agents.

I started the company as me and one agent. Now I run a fleet of persistent agents that help me and my clients get work done. The busy work and the repetitive work go to the agents. The human part, understanding what someone is trying to do and figuring out what will move it forward, is the part I keep for myself.

Since January 2026 I have helped small business owners build agents and autonomous workflows, and helped individual professionals use AI to rewrite their resumes, sharpen their careers, and land jobs. The systems I built for clients in the first few months are still running every day, and they do more now than they did at the start. As better models come out, I help those clients integrate them, add features, and harden security. The AI landscape keeps changing. I keep their systems useful as it does.

Everything I build for other people is something I run myself first. I will not tell anyone to use a tool I would not use. KaiSpark runs on the same systems I help other people build.

KaiSpark is a new company. The experience behind it is not. In the AI space, a few months is a long time, and I have been in it since the beginning.

About William

I started using AI for my work two weeks after ChatGPT came out, and I have not stopped. Within a few months I was the person friends and coworkers came to when they wanted help understanding what AI could do. I started KaiSpark to do that work full time.

I spent years learning how businesses operate, how work moves through them, and where it tends to get stuck. Over the last few years, I have learned how to use AI to solve those problems. When you understand the work and the technology at the same time, you can find better ways to solve old problems and see new things worth building.

The space is moving fast and getting faster, even for someone who uses AI every single day. I watch friends, family, and clients trying to get started now, and I know how overwhelming it is to figure out where to begin, what to focus on, and which tools matter. Helping people make sense of it and find what fits them is the part of this work I enjoy most.

I studied Mandarin in college, then moved to China for two years to keep studying it. I know what it is like to be a beginner at something complicated, and I know that with steady work and a good teacher, the fog clears. That is where the name comes from. Kai comes from the Chinese character 开 (kāi), which means to start, to open, or to begin. AI was the start of a new chapter for me. I want to help other people start theirs.

How I Think About AI

AI Should Raise the Floor, Not Just the Ceiling.

AI makes the knowledge, judgment, and experience people have spent years building even more valuable. You do not need a technical background to use it well. You need to understand your work and be willing to learn how to extend what you already know.

Build Your Own AI Advantage.

Your AI advantage should live in a system you control, not inside one product. A custom system can carry your context, connect to the tools you already use, and adopt better models as they come out. Your data and workflows stay with you while the technology around them keeps improving.

Learn Enough to Steer It Yourself.

AI products will keep getting better, but relying on one of them does not build your own capability. Learn how to use the technology and you can move between tools, keep more control of your data, and adapt your system as better options come out. Over time, both the technology and your ability to use it improve.

Agents Are Leverage, Not Replacements.

The best use of AI is giving people more leverage. Some of my clients are using that leverage to hire more people, open new locations, and take on work they could not have handled before.

Not Every New Tool Deserves Your Time.

So many new technologies and products come out every single week that if you tested all of them, you would never get anything into production. Part of my job is helping people tell the difference.

Be a Participant, Not a Bystander.

AI is shaping the world around us and the work that we do. The best way to understand where it is going and influence how it gets used is to participate. The more people who understand it, the more human judgment we can bring to how it develops.

This is for people who want to progress, who want more for themselves and for their business, and who are looking for a way to stay competitive and upskill themselves and their team.
